ABOUT

G. G. Pizarro is an emerging self-published author from Puerto Rico, known for his novel The Hostess Secret, available on Amazon in eBook, paperback, and hardcover formats. He has also contributed a short story, Hankering to Return, to the PR TESOL GRAM, Vol. 54, June 2024 edition.

 

Professionally, Pizarro is an English teacher at the Puerto Rico Department of Education and an English professor at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine. His previous roles include teaching conversational English in the Adult Education Program and working in the Extended Academic Reinforcement Program.

 

He is pursuing a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, focusing on Teaching English as a Second Language at the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras. He holds a Master’s in Education in Teaching English as a Second Language from the same institution and a Bachelor's in Hotel and Food Administration from the University of Puerto Rico in Carolina. His academic journey is further enriched by educational courses at the University of Puerto Rico in Carolina and English courses at the University of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla.
